Are you 12 to 15 years old? Do you love music? Have you ever considered learning how to play the guitar? Join us for a two hour introduction to the Guitar Beginners for Kids – Ages 12 – 15. This session is designed for kids who are considering taking the first step in learning how to play the guitar or for those that would like to resume the journey. Previous musical knowledge is not required. The session welcomes all levels of beginners. Come along and you will be playing an iconic guitar riff that day!

Course Outline:

• Learn how to tune your guitar.
• Learn basic chords.
• Learn to read chord charts.
• Learn to read guitar TAB.
• Learn an iconic legendary guitar riff

• Tune your guitar.
• Read and utilise chord charts and guitar TAB.
• Play a variety of chords.
• Play an iconic legendary guitar riff
• Play basic arrangements of a recognisable song.
• Develop a greater understanding, knowledge, and appreciation of music in general.
