This unique Taster session, is specially designed for anyone whom would like to begin their journey in Photography, or just learn some new skills.
Set amongst the beautiful gardens of the College, you will learn; how to set up and use your camera properly, black and white and colour set up, exposure, to focus and recompose, and composition.

This session will conclude with an open chat session with the Tutor, about any questions relating to the actual Course, and Photography in general. Learn in a relaxed but informative atmosphere, with a Tutor of over 9 years + Photography Tutoring Experience.

Course Outline:

• Learn how to set up in colour and black and white
• Learn how underexposure and overexposure, can dramatically change the way your photographs look.
• Learn how to focus, and recompose properly
• Learn the fundamentals of Point of View , Framing and Composition

Learning Outcomes:

• You will learn how to set up properly in colour and black and white
• Learn about the fundamentals of Light and exposure – Under and over exposure
• How properly recomposing your photographs, makes for far more interesting photographs
• That Composition, is key to great Photography

What to bring:

Camera Equipment;
Any adjustable digital camera; DSLR / 4/3rds / Mirrorless / Superzoom / Bridge camera / Advanced Compact camera with;

• RAW / JPEG image capability (JPEG only is fine)
• adjustable ISO/film speed settings
• with adjustable exposure settings; shutter, aperture, and manual exposure i.e. S or TV, A or AV, and M,
• With manual/autofocus capability
• Also if your camera has adjustable picture control/picture style settings i.e. monochrome standard, neutral, etc

Any Zoom Lenses you have
Any Prime lens(es) you have
A small umbrella, water, note pad and pen
Please wear sensible clothing, as this is an outdoor session, also please wear closed in footwear only, for your safety.
