How to see and Photograph in colour. Understanding and using the physical around you, Light – Texture, (POV) Composition the environment – weather. Using timing, slow and fast shutter speeds. This field trip has a maximum of 6 students for a greater learning experience, and more one on one time with the Tutor.
Skill Level:
This field trip is suitable for students who have a thorough working knowledge of their camera and controls, shutter and aperture settings and or have completed either a; Beginner’s Photography Course or similar , Basic DSLR / Digital Photography Course or similar.

We will meet on the corner of Bare Island Road (the entrance to Bare Island) where it meets Anzac Parade, please wait on the grass verge either side, of the path.
There is usually an ice cream van there.

With over 50+ years of experience in Photography including; 10+ years as a Photography Tutor, and 20+ years of digital Photography and post processing. I am now a Professional Photography Tutor, teaching all levels of Photography at SGSCC.
I am passionate about Photography and love to teach and share both classic and modern Photography techniques, and believe it is the most significant visual medium on this planet.
My Photography Courses, Field Trips and Workshops, are not just about learning Photography, but experiences with like-minded people whom want to learn, share and enjoy the Photography learning experience together, in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.'
