Reiki is the Japanese word for Universal Life Energy and is also used to describe a system of natural healing. This method was founded by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. We live in a world of energy that nourishes and maintains all living things. When this energy flows uninterrupted there is balance and harmony within and around us, and we experience a sense of wellbeing in all areas of our lives. This one-day workshop teaches you how to confidently treat yourself and others with Reiki. It is a great place to start your Reiki and your inner journey. Through instruction, hands-on demonstrations, and supervised practice, you will grow in understanding and confidence with this healing method.

After being attuned, you will be ready to start the amazing journey that Reiki Usui offers you, connecting with universal life energy to help and heal yourself, other people, plants, animals, and the environment! The channels opened during this first attunement will stay open for the rest of your life. This Level 1 – The Awakening, has a strong focus on yourself, your body, and your energy system. You will be able to heal yourself and then offer a great service to others by facilitating Reiki. Hands-on Reiki will provide deep relaxation and release of pain and stress. It helps people to sleep and recover from trauma and to release issues that are ready to let go. Reiki is done with the clothes on.

Students will receive an accredited Certificate.

Course Outline:

• Brief introduction to Reiki
• Attunement that allows you to start practicing Reiki
• Give and receive one Reiki session
• Steps on how to utilize the benefits for yourself
• Class booklet for easy guidance and recall after class

What to bring:

• Pen
• Massage table (preferably), or yoga mat
• A blanket
• A pillow
• Water bottle
• Your lunch
• Wear comfortable clothes
• Students will receive a full colour Reiki 1 Manual, a couple of crystals, and a colour printed Reiki 1 Certificate, accredited by Purple Angel Healing Centre and IICT (International Institute for Complementary Therapies).

About the Tutor:

I am Claudia Boymouchakian. I was born in Argentina, where shamans and energy healers play a big part in our day-to-day lives. I have been in touch with the angels and their guidance from my early childhood on and I knew that one day I would be guided to share this gift with others. With a background in teaching and educational psychology, I bring experience to each interactive, fun, and profound class. I enjoy helping others find the balance in life through complementary therapies. In each class, I take students on a journey of self-discovery of their inner power.
