A fun, interactive and entrepreneurial workshop that teaches you everything you need to know about Social Media, content creation, posting, film, photography, reels, transitions, editing and writing. You’ll work with props, backdrops and ring lights to create engaging content, in this hands on, creative workshop. The course incorporates aspects of photography, film, advertising and digital media.
You will also learn highly desirable employability skills that you can use in the workforce. These skills will be beneficial in any job, industry or career where the company or business uses social media to promote themselves. Suitable for anyone who enjoys creating content, photography, short videos and social media. This is also perfect for anyone running a small to medium size business, who needs help with ideas and inspiration for their social media content. An introduction to all Social Media platforms (ask anything you want.)
Understanding of Social Media / Digital marketing.
Explore your camera functions and lighting techniques.
Learn how to take great photos and create short videos.
Build ideas to develop new content for your brand or business.
Make engaging Instagram reels.
Edit your reel / videos.
Perfect your writing and hashtags.

About the tutor:
'The Social Media and Content Creation workshop is taught by news journalist, educator, podcast host & producer and content creator Stephanie Aceglav. Stephanie has created professional content and social media advertisements for companies like Priceline and the Cancer Council over the last several years. She also works with many small business who are looking to develop ideas for content and transform their social media platforms. Stephanie runs her own business, Media For Millennials, and works with students and businesses across the state to deliver media, social media and communication workshops.'

To ensure resources are ready for you at the start of your course, we ask you ideally enrol at least one week before the course commences.
All courses need a minimum number of students to run ("we try our hardest to get those") . If your course does not have enough students it will be cancelled before the commencement and you will be informed.

Accessible toilet and ground floor wheelchair access available Monday – Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, see Reception for directions to room. After hours and weekends look for the Site Co-ordinator for room directions. Onsite Cafe open Monday to Friday 8:00am-3:00pm, Sat 8:30am – 1:30pm. Outside these hours there are drink/snack vending machines onsite.
