French for Beginners - Taster
The beginner’s French course is a good way to get started with learning the French language. Our native French-speaking tutor is happy to provide you with a sound foundation for the basics of the French language and its pronunciation. She understands the challenges that come with learning a new language, and how to overcome them and be confident.
This course is suitable for absolute beginners. No knowledge of the language is assumed. You will learn the basis of the French language in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We will use the book “The French experience 1” as a basic tool to refer to, but during the classes, we will use multitudes of material audio and hard copies, and a multi-media which includes use of video, role play and games.
Course Outline:
- Greetings (Hellos & Goodbyes)
- Formality and informality: Addressing people
- Asking for things: Ordering a snack at a café
- Introducing yourself: Personnel information: Name, Nationality
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this French for beginners' part 1, you should be able to:
- Greet and say goodbye
