This Learn Italian, Level 1 – Part 2 Class is a continuation of learning from Italian Level 1 – Part 1. It aims at consolidating the previously acquired knowledge of Italian basic grammar, improve pronunciation and extend conversation skills while learning a wider vocabulary.

Course Outline:

• Regular verbs past tense (Passato Prossimo).
• Adverbs of quantity.
• Tell the time.
• Activities and preferences.
• Vocabulary: family members, pastimes, sports.

Learning Outcomes:

• Exchanging personal information’s.
• Saying how long for/how long since you have been doing your job, hobbies, sports.
• Talk about your family, occupations, age.
• Your favourite means of transportation.

Prerequisite:

• You need to have completed Italian Level 1 – Part 1 to enrol in this class or demonstrate your relevant ‘level’ through a conversation with the tutor prior to enrolling.

About the tutor:

Serena Maluccio was born in Rome, where she completed her studies. She has a great passion for the Italian language and cooking, which she enjoys sharing with her students. Serena is also a graphic designer specialising in bilingual book publishing and is the author of Italian books for beginners, available on Amazon. Her love for the Italian language and culture prompted her to further her education, and she is currently studying to become a secondary school teacher. Serena firmly believes that learning should be engaging and enjoyable at any age, so join her for a fantastic and enriching experience.
