"I have taught Spanish at the College since 2002. My career objective is to be able to help people of all ages, develop the knowledge of Spanish as a second language.
With my passion for teaching and in-depth knowledge of grammar and communication skills, I am committed to working with students to develop their passion for all things Spanish.
In the year 2001, I received a Teachers' award for excellence from the NSW Federation of Community Language Schools." Cristina
"As a passionate tutor who has been teaching Spanish for over 20 years from Beginners to Advanced levels, I started with SGSCC in 2001 teaching the “Spanish for Travellers” course, designing the entire course from scratch. Next, I was asked to develop the curriculum for “The Importance of the Spanish Culture in the World” which was also offered by SGSCC within the Seniors Program in 2017. In 2012, I also received the “Most Outstanding Teacher Award” from SGSCC, cementing my love of teaching at the College.
In 2014 I published her “Spanish for Travellers” book and a CD containing the most important topics of the Spanish grammar, vocabulary and dialogues for different contexts. All students receive this package at the start of the Spanish for Travellers course.
Teaching classes at all levels of Spanish, I am proud of my loyal student base with many re-enrolling in the Spanish course’s term after term, year after year." Lourdes
