A great way to have some playful fun in a flash sampling Mindful Art. Learn some easy, quick relaxation & arty techniques while mindfully enjoying creating a small artwork that you can take away with you. All levels of artistic flair welcome and perfect for non-artists!
Course Outline:
Practical, hands-on workshop designed to introduce you to the concept of Mindfulness to help unplug & unwind from day to day stress. Enjoy using mixed media techniques in creating your very own creative ‘make & take’ artwork. May include coloured markers, acrylic paints, inks and collage techniques.
Learning Outcomes:
- Opportunity to have some time for you and to to relax
- Enjoy simple creative time as part of the relaxation ‘mindful’ process
- Learn or re-acquaint yourself with basic breathing for relaxation techniques
- Quick introduction to mixed media creating in the moment
What to bring:
- All materials provided for activity.
- It is advisable to be wear an older shirt or top or have a paint smock/apron to ensure markers, paints or inks do not stain clothes. All media used are non-toxic and waterbased.
