Pilates Plus - Between Terms
Pilates Plus will help change your movement patterns, correct posture, and increase core strength. The class will begin with a variety of standing balance exercises, then progress to Pilates floor exercises using chi balls, foam rollers, bands & hand weights. Complete your workout with a series of gentle stretches to allow both the mind & body to feel relaxed. Pilates exercise consists of low-impact movements to improve flexibility, muscular strength, and postural alignment. Pilates develops CORE strength by enhancing the deep muscles of the back, abdomen, and pelvic floor. Weight-bearing exercises build shorter more bulky muscles, while Pilates elongates and strengthens improving muscle elasticity and joint mobility. Pilates is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
