Janine Burns

Dr. Janine Burns received her Italian Honours degree at the University of Sydney, where she also obtained her PhD from the Department of Oriental Languages and Cultures. Janine is a fluent Italian and Mandarin Chinese speaker and spent several years living in Rome and Beijing.Being a non-native speaker Janine has a strong appreciation of the challenges that students may have when they first begin learning a new language.
